Mini Oil Painting Of An Ice Cream Scooper
I’ve spent a good part of the week wondering what to paint next. After all, I had said I would paint one small painting each week. By dinner time Thursday night I still hadn’t decided on a subject. So, just for the fun of it, I asked my son what I should paint.
“Paint an ice cream scooper,” he said after a moment. Inwardly I groaned. Our ice cream scooper? That’s a tough one to paint with it’s metal and odd curves. Still, it was an idea, and better than none. So here, offered for your enjoyment, is our ice cream scoop.

This small oil painting of an ice cream scooper on a soft blue background is painted on canvas covered art board. It is 5 inches by 7 inches in size. It should be dry enough to ship around September 22, 2006. Purchase price: $19.95.

Are you going to paint ice cream to go with it?
It seems lonely.
My favorite flavor is Chocolate Chip mint – the green one. One brand makes it white but if it’s not green, it’s not my favorite.
