Apparently Only Women Read Instructions
My son was watching an Anime where only women were pilots. I asked him why that was, and he replied, “Apparently only women read the directions”.
Today, instead of painting, I was a Woman. I read the instructions on upgrading WordPress.
The upgrade was pretty easy. All I had to do was follow the step by step instructions. I am very glad I did. There was a trick step called disabling plugins, that I hadn’t thought about. The task took some time though. I’m a believer in backups. When I finished the upgrade, it occurred to me that maybe there was a plugin to slow down spammers. Then more time was taken up with the search for a plugin and installation. Hopefully, the time spent on this upgrade will save me hours of work and aggravation of deleting spam from the moderation list.
I’ve also added a couple of nifty search features. The one for wearable art will take you to Cafepress to view fun art from thousands of artists. The other is a search through Amazon because, afterall, maybe you’ll be reminded of some great tunes or a book that you’ll want to acquire.
Another 20 inch x 16 inch oil painting is planned for tomorrow. I’ll blog it as a Work In Progress so you can watch the painting unfold. See you then!
