Funky Red Shoes!

Time to unveil the fun and funky Red Shoe series of small oil paintings. You can see them in Cindy Douglass’ shop at Etsy.

I just wanted to try something lighthearted and fun, so I came up with a few shoe designs while playing around with shapes and forms. This is probably the closest I’ll come to clothes design.

Time to show off our dog, Buddy.  Buddy Dog is a blue merle Australian shepherd. He is the very smartest dog we’ve ever had the pleasure of having in our life. So I just had to paint him. This oil painting, titled “Please!”, was done in 2007, and sold almost immediately.
