My Art in an Etsy Treasury

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

People really seem to like my paintings of fireworks. My art of fireworks has been in several Etsy Treasuries. The Blue Fireworks 04 Oil Painting has again made another appearance; this one a gorgeous “Let the fireworks begin” Etsy Treasury by missPriscillaPomeroy.

Since the Treasuries are not long lived, I’ve included a screen shot here for prosperity.

While you patiently wait for me to get back to painting (Enough stalling. Building CD shelves, indeed!) Here’s a few visual treats for you from my artistic vault.

I thought this chocolate martini was beautiful when it was served to a friend of mine. So I had to paint it! I’m not sure I did it justice, but it was fun to paint. This ACEO is no longer in stock.

Abstract Point Of View

I’ve never been able to get a very good photo of this one. Between that, and the size (only 20″ x 16″), it’s not gotten the attention it deserves. To look at this in person is to be mesmerized!

Fireworks purple

Here’s one of the fireworks series that I don’t show often. Even though I thought I was done with it and signed it, I keep thinking it needs more work.

I found this image on my hard drive as documentation of the work in progress. This is an oil portrait I’ve done of my husband’s parents. Since then both parents have passed on.

Earl made a comment about our walls being the “Wall Of Death”,  so I took down all the paintings. When we moved from AL to NC,  I sent the completed painting off to Earl’s sister.  I don’t have a photo of the completed painting on this computer, but I think you might be able to see how it might looked…
