Steampunked Badass Elephant -Work in Progress

Friday, October 12th, 2012

Ok, I may be stretching things a bit, but I think it is pretty Badass-ed. Maybe I’ve been watching my husband play Borderlands 2 a little too much.

Created by throwing 4 cylinders, one pot, and one spout. Putting them together, altering them, adding some hand building, sculpting a bit, and using the technique of “pulling handles” for the tusks.  Without further ado,  my Steampunked, Badass Elephant.

Butterfly Plate Design is Here!

Monday, April 2nd, 2012

So I’ve finally come up with a design that I believe is worthy of going public. That’s a good thing, since I now have monthly bills to pay at the nearby clay co-op, Stepping Stone Arts, in Drexel, NC. A few more tests on cups, bowls, etc.  If the tests go well, then I’ll be ready to take orders! Yay!

Left Handed Juicer Made The Etsy Treasury!

Wednesday, May 11th, 2011

My last batch of clay that went through the fire came out looking beautiful!

I’d listed these pieces in my Etsy store yesterday. I was surprised to get an email today saying that the left handed citrus juicer had been added to an Etsy Treasury!

Because the treasuries don’t last long, I’ve added a screen shot here for prosperity.
